Information>>
All Agri-Tag products are manufactured by Ardes in France, printed by Agrihealth in Monaghan and has been on sale for over 15 years in thirty-six countries world-wide. In addition to the eight-digit flock number and State identifier IE, each tag will carry an individual identification number as well as a check digit determined by the Department of Agriculture as part of their anti-fraud system. The pig tags also carry the IE identifier along with the Z herd number and individual numbers if desired.
Agrihealth are very proud that Agri-Tag products have been chosen by the Department
of Agriculture for use by their officers in the current blood sampling of
sheep for the detection of Foot and Mouth Disease and scrapie controll.
