1. Place male part of tag on the applicator pin. 2. Place female button under the retaining clip on the lower jaw of the applicator. Ensure that the flat side of the button bearing the words “Ardes France” is facing the point of the male tag. 3. Make sure that they are lined up by gently closing the applicators until the pin touches the female part. See diagram 1. 4. Keeping the animals head restrained, insert the tag into the centre of the ear at the base between the two main veins. Use one sharp decisive action to insert the tag squeezing the jaws of the applicator firmly together.See diagram 2. 5. Release the Applicators quickly and rotate the tag in the ear to ensure free movement. See diagram 3. |
